My Story
As a coach, mentor, and trainer at heart, I am passionate about helping people be the best that they can be. I thrive on transforming ordinary into extraordinary and helping people live lives filled with gratitude, authenticity, meaning, purpose, success, love, happiness and fun.
If we came with a manual at birth, mine would include a strong code of conduct and a compass with cardinal points of HONESTY, LOYALTY, TRUST and RESPECT as the foundational pillars of who I am. I use these pillars as my GPS and filter. I am inquisitive and questions to understand. I believe that one has to gain understanding before one will be fully understood.
I could not have navigated some of the challenges I faced without my personal framework. Questions that were helpful that may help you in your journey include: What are your values? What defines you? What are your core tennets? How do you do “life”? What code of conduct do you live by? What are your decision tree pillars?
I believe that a leader, manager, coach or mentor must understand (and be willing to do or have already done) what they suggest to others, and have applicable experience. Whether managing large teams at multinational banks or small teams at start-ups, on sports team or in social groups, I am always all-in to motivate and positively impact my teamates. I care about the people first, and then my operations, sales, strategy, or senior management roles. Do we have the tools, training, and support needed? Are we learning and progressing? What gets me up in the morning is helping, training, coaching, mentoring, and building high-performance teams to be the best that they can be.
If I can guide my team members to be the best that they can be, we all win. Why? Because, if THEY are, then WE are. And if we are, then by extension so is OUR TEAM, division or company. In so doing, we will have succeeded in growing the individual, the team, the group/company and myself. It’s a win-win for all.
